Cookies

The site only uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work and stay secure: those set by Cloudflare to protect the site, and those of the Turnstile anti-bot check on the contact form. No advertising or audience-measurement cookies are used, and no analytics tool is installed.

The newsletter sign-up form (on the French Blog, Workshops and Meditations pages, the French blog articles and the "Ma lettre" page) is provided by MailerLite. It only loads if you click the "S'inscrire à la lettre" (subscribe) button; without that click, nothing is sent to MailerLite or Google. After the click, MailerLite stores a technical identifier (ml_guid) in your browser's local storage, and the Google reCAPTCHA anti-bot check built into the form may set cookies on Google's domain. MailerLite and Google then receive your IP address and technical information about your browser, even if you end up not subscribing. You can delete this data at any time in your browser settings.

Third-party services

To operate, the site relies on a limited number of service providers. Here is who they are and what they receive:

• Cloudflare — hosting and security of the site, as well as the Turnstile anti-bot verification on the contact form. For this purpose, Cloudflare processes your IP address and certain technical characteristics of your browser.
• Google (Gmail) — the contact form delivers your message, followed by an acknowledgement of receipt, through Alexandra Kalinine's Gmail account. Your name, email address and message are stored there like any other email.
• MailerLite — newsletter management. The sign-up form loads from MailerLite's servers when you click "S'inscrire à la lettre"; MailerLite then receives your IP address and stores a technical identifier in your browser (see "Cookies"). Your email address and first name are only recorded after you have subscribed yourself; every mailing contains an unsubscribe link.
• Google (reCAPTCHA) — anti-bot verification built into the newsletter sign-up form. It loads together with that form, so only after your click; Google then processes your IP address and certain technical characteristics of your browser, and may set cookies, under its own privacy policy.
• YouTube — some videos are embedded via youtube-nocookie.com and only load once you press play. YouTube may then process data about you.
• Calendly (appointment booking), Stripe (payment) and Google Forms (application to the practice group) — reached through external links. By following them you leave this site, and the terms of use and privacy policies of those services apply.

Some of these providers are established outside the European Union. You are invited to consult their respective privacy policies to find out more.

Applicable law

The site is governed by Dutch law and by the law of the European Union. In the event of a dispute, after an attempt at amicable resolution, the competent Dutch courts will have jurisdiction.
